Titre : DEVICE FOR GRAVITY SEPARATION OF IMMISCIBLE LIQUIDS HAVING DIFFERENT DENSITIES

Description : The invention relates to a device for gravity separation of immiscible liquids having different densities from an emulsion, including a tank inside of which the emulsion is moved and flows such that the liquids separate by migrating one liquid above, and means for extracting the lightest liquid and the heaviest liquid toward corresponding outlets, by overflows. The tank includes a separation partition defining a first chamber into which said inlet leads, and a second chamber, said partition providing a lower communication passage between said chambers so that the heaviest liquid flows into the second chamber. A means for adjusting or controlling the pressure/negative pressure in one of the inner spaces located above the free surfaces of the liquids of said chambers.

Titre : SEPARATEUR A ECOULEMENT CYCLONIQUE

Description : Le séparateur a une chambre de séparation cylindrique et un lanceur coaxial entraînés en rotation. Le lanceur comporte un noyau, une entrée pour recevoir un écoulement axial de fluide, une sortie pour injecter le fluide dans la chambre de séparation et des canaux de guidage formés entre l'entrée et la sortie du lanceur en périphérie du noyau. Le noyau a une portion de diamètre égal ou supérieur au diamètre intérieur de la chambre de séparation. Dans cette portion, les canaux de guidage s'étendent longitudinalement, puis ils se prolongent jusqu'à la sortie du lanceur, dont la forme est sensiblement cylindrique de diamètre égal au diamètre intérieur de la chambre de séparation.

Description : A separator of a mixture of liquid and gas, comprising an injection device, a separation chamber having a cylindrical internal surface and extending along a vertical axis, and a control chamber. The mixture is separated in the separation chamber into gas and liquid, with a cylindrical interface surface. The separation chamber comprises a first axial outlet for extracting the gas, a second outlet for extracting the liquid, and a third axial outlet in communication with the control chamber. The interface surface has, in normal operating conditions, a diameter lying between the diameter of the first outlet and the diameter of the third outlet. The control chamber is connected to the injection device by a return circuit.

Description : The present invention concerns a system for extracting the liquids from a well producing liquid and gas, in which the system comprises: a separation wall defining, in the well, a first space and a second space; a liquid-gas separator; and a system (108) for eliminating separated liquid. Moreover, the first space is suitable for conveying a mixture comprising the gas and liquid from a production area to the separator. Furthermore, the separator is suitable for separating the gas and liquid from the mixture. Moreover, the second space is suitable for receiving the liquid separated from the mixture. Finally, the elimination system is suitable for eliminating the separated liquid using at least the gravitational potential energy of said separated liquid in the second space.

Description : The process of treating a chemical compound and/or microorganism transported by a liquid and/or a gas, comprises circulating a liquid in a flow space in which conditions of liquid flow are adapted to produce cavitation bubbles or pockets and to provoke collision and impulsion in the bubbles or pockets, and injecting an incondensable gas inside the bubbles or pockets. The flow space comprises, between two walls, a radial chamber having an axial opening for introducing the liquid in the walls in its central part and a peripheral opening for exiting the liquid in its side part.; The process of treating a chemical compound and/or microorganism transported by a liquid and/or a gas, comprises circulating a liquid in a flow space in which conditions of liquid flow are adapted to produce cavitation bubbles or pockets and to provoke collision and impulsion in the bubbles or pockets, and injecting an incondensable gas inside the bubbles or pockets. The flow space comprises, between two walls, a radial chamber having an axial opening for introducing the liquid in the walls in its central part and a peripheral opening for exiting the liquid in its side part. The liquid is diverted in the central part of the flow space and flowed in the chamber towards the peripheral opening. The gas is injected in the radial chamber through secondary openings present in the side walls.; The flow space further comprises a longitudinal channel having narrowing and broadening collar such that bubbles and pockets are produced against the walls of the channels near the collar, and a liquid column in a closed pipe at the ends. The liquid column and the closed pipe are displaced in the channel under effect to produce bubbles or pockets in the column. The gas is further injected in the liquid in upstream of different sections of longitudinal channels. The liquid is introduced in lower part of the column and evacuated in an upper part. The gas is introduced in lower part of the column. The channel is displaced towards a base and a top of the column.

Titre : METHOD AND DEVICE FOR TREATING AT LEAST ONE COMPOUND CARRIED IN A LIQUID

Description : In a method and to a device for treating a compound, such as a chemical and/or organic and/or microorganism compound, which is carried by a liquid, the liquid is driven axially through an axial inlet into a central inlet portion of a radial cavitation chamber  having a peripheral outlet (30), such that the liquid is diverted into the central inlet portion and flows into the radial chamber in various radial directions towards the peripheral outlet; and the liquid flow conditions between the inlet and the peripheral outlet of the radial chamber are capable of generating cavitation bubbles or pockets and subsequently causing the collapse or implosion of the bubbles or pockets in order to treat the compound at least partially.

Titre : Triple phase extraction procedure for polluted soils pumps out gases in vadose zone, floating pollutants and water

Description :  The procedure consists of using triple phase extraction to pump out gases contained in the vadose zone, floating liquid pollutants and dissolved substances contained in the upper zone of the aquifer which have to be extracted, leaving the lower unpolluted zone. The extraction is carried out using small-diameter needles for an optimum area of influence and to adapt to the nature of the terrain, and can go down to a depth of tens or hundreds of metres.

Description : Ejector device for forming a pressurized mixture of liquid and gas, comprising a suction chamber and a diffuser. The suction chamber comprises an injection nozzle for producing a jet of liquid flowing in a longitudinal direction, a gas inlet for admitting into the suction chamber a gas to be driven by the liquid jet, and an outlet opening for discharging the liquid jet and the driven gas from the suction chamber. The diffuser is connected to the outlet opening of the suction chamber and has, in the longitudinal direction, a transversal section that increases from the outlet opening, the diffuser being situated immediately after the outlet opening of the suction chamber.

Titre : Process for mixing fluids with non-homogeneous properties

Description : Fluids forming strata in a vessel are extracted through a number of vertical perforated pipes. The perforations are regularly spaced and their total surface can be varied with the level of fluid in the vessel. The pipes join at their downstream ends to form a common circuit. The fluids extracted through the pipes match the overall mean mixture in the vessel. The pipes have a common point at their downstream end, where the fluids join a common circuit. The circuit contains mechanical means of extracting fluid from the vessel and circulating it. The perforations in the pipes are regularly spaced to form a regular supply in the vertical direction, which displaces the strata in the vessel horizontally and the extraction thus obtained has a composition of the different fluids in the same proportions as the mean in the vessel.; The supply to the pipes by gravity is ensured by opening a valve or by operating a pump. The total surface of the perforations is varied by using or not using some of the pipes, using valves  controlled by a level detector. The mixture can be reintroduced into the vessel, agitating the fluids in the vessel as little as possible. The mixture can pass into a final mixer to homogenize the extracted fluid even more finely.
